Message from Ambarish Natu

The IEEE ACT Section is excited to partner with the ACT Children’s Week in furthering the STEM outreach in the region.

IEEE aims to empower educators to foster the next generation of technology innovators. IEEE provides educators and students with resourceslesson plans, and activities that engage and inspire. The aim is to make the learning experience engaging and filled with fun and games. This is to ensure children enjoy the experience in a relaxed environment and at the same time gain useful skills in STEM.

IEEE is committed to providing quality pre-university-level educational resources for teachers, parents, students, IEEE volunteers, and the general public.

IEEE ACT Section encourages young girls to participate in the annual Young Women in Engineering (YoWIE) summer school program organised at the University of New South Wales, Canberra.

The IEEE ACT Section looks forward to engaging with teachers and educators for their professional development, running seminars, activities and events for students, young professionals, women in engineering and professionals throughout the year through funding obtained from competitive funding rounds.
