Catholic Education Canberra Goulburn is proud to once again support ACT Children’s Week.
This year’s theme reminds us that every child has the right to use their own language, celebrate their culture and practice their faith. When children see who they are reflected and respected in their schools and communities, they grow in confidence, belonging and hope.
Our schools are enriched by students from many cultural, linguistic and faith backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children whose cultures are among the oldest continuing cultures in the world. Honouring that diversity is central to our mission and to our belief in the dignity of every child.
Congratulations to this year’s award recipients, and thank you to everyone who works to make the ACT a place where every child can flourish.
