For over 50 years, the Canberra Southern Cross Club has contributed millions of dollars to schools, sporting clubs, and community charities across the ACT, and we are honoured to once again, support ACT Children’s Week in 2025 — a time to recognise rights, celebrate achievements, and elevate the voices of children and young people.
This year’s theme Everyone Should Know about Children’s Rights is a powerful reminder that every child has the right to be safe, respected, and heard. Through our partnerships with educators, coaches, volunteers, and families, we see every day how young people contribute to their communities with strength, creativity and compassion.
We are committed to creating and supporting spaces and activities where children and young people are empowered to thrive — on the field, in the classroom, and beyond. By working together, we can build a stronger, fairer future where the voices of young people are not only welcomed but truly valued.
